Sweet Pea Boutique Nursing/Teething Necklace Giveaway

Today, we have a fun giveaway from Sweet Pea Boutique, owned by Heather Winters-Downing. Heather lives in Florida with her husband and three children. She was inspired to start making nursing/teething necklaces when her youngest daughter, Alena, turned 5 months and she needed something to hold the attention of this very sweet yet very distracted nurser. She makes a few different styles of necklaces, including a Simply Natural necklace, made of wooden rings and bead and polished with grapeseed oil ($8 plus shipping for non-local customers ) and crochet/wooden bead necklaces with either a wooden teething ring pendant ($15 plus shiping for non-local customers) or a woven wrap scrap wreath pendant, made with fabric scraps left over from converting a woven wrap into a different style of carrier, such as a mei tai or soft structures carrier ($17-20 depending on what wrap is used, plus shipping for non-local customers).

A few examples of these beautiful necklaces

These necklaces are meant for baby to chew on when teething and to help keep baby entertained while nursing to avoid pinching and constant unlatching to look away. If you are interested in purchasing one of Heather's necklaces, please visit her page here. I do not currently own one of her necklaces but I do think they are beautiful and would like to own one very soon! Heather has been generous enough to offer my readers a chance to win one of her Simply Natural necklaces (pictured below). Please see Rafflecopter form below to enter. Giveaway ends Wednesday, August 7th, 2013.

  4. I always meant to make a nursing necklace for my daughter, but never got around to it. Now, my son is just beginning to get to the distracted nursing stage and it would be the perfect time for us to win one!
